Fugro Consultants Expands Nondestructive Testing Services with Second Location
We have expanded our Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Services with the opening of a second location off Highway 290 in the Brittmoore-Tanner Business Park, 10831 Train Court, Houston, Texas 77041, 713-937-0029. The new location provides an additional 22,000 sq. ft of testing area with 10-ton crane lifting capability. Mr. Phil Zaragoza manages the new facility and the original facility located in Pasadena, Texas.
Fugro Consultants offers NDT services to clients in the petrochemical, metal fabrication, construction, and utility industries. Our testing equipment detects surface and subsurface discontinuities in material by using techniques that do not damage or destroy the items being examined. NDT plays a major role in fabrication and construction by providing a means of checking adherence to applicable codes, specifications, and standards — without significantly interfering with construction, operation, or project schedule.

Fugroconsultants.com Wins SMPS Award
Fugro Consultants, Inc. received a 2009 Marketing Design Award from the Houston Chapter of the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS). Our website received the second place award and was showcased at the Houston SMPS Design Award Gala on May 8, 2009. Marketing pieces are judged on audience appeal, creative impact, writing, and visual appeal.
The Society for Marketing Professional Services was created in 1973 by a small group of professional service firm leaders who recognized the need to sharpen skills, pool resources and work together to create business opportunities. Together they created SMPS to help tackle the day-to-day complexities of marketing in a time when marketing was barely acknowledged as a separate component of professional service firms. Today, the national association has 53 chapters and a membership of 6,000+ marketing and business development professionals from architectural, engineering, planning, interior design, construction, and specialty consulting firms located throughout the US and Canada. Together, these professionals contribute support for the SMPS mission: "To advocate for, educate, and connect leaders in the building industry."
