Project Engineer
Location
Houston, Texas
Duties/Responsibilities
Lead engineer on a variety of geotechnical projects. Experience with institutional, infra-structure, municipal and heavy and light commercial projects.
- Direct, review and oversee medium to large and/or complex projects.
- Review test results and analyze results for advanced tests such as CU or CKoU triaxial tests, CD triaxial tests, cyclic triaxial tests, Resonant Column—Torsional Shear (RCTS) tests, static and cyclic direct simple shear tests, and consolidation test (incremental loading and CRS).
- Supervise Static and dynamic testing programs, prepare cost estimates, project schedule and reports.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- Provide senior-level review of proposals/reports and ensure commitments to clients are met.
- Assist with marketing and operations.
- Mentor, train and develop professional and technical staff
- Awareness and implementation of project risk control and risk management.
- Observes and follows all company safety rules and procedures.
Requirements
- M.S or Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer
- Proficient with computers and software.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Valid drivers license with acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Ability to travel to various clients’ offices and job sites.
