In February 2008, all of Fugro Consultants’ offices (with the exception of our newly established Maryland location) received OHSAS (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) 18001 certification. OSHAS 18001 has been developed to be compatible with the ISO 9001:2000 (Quality) and ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental) management systems standards. This enables the integration of quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems by organizations.
 
OHSAS 18001 certification makes a statement to our employees, suppliers and clients that Fugro Consultants has taken positive and pro-active steps to reduce health and safety risks throughout our operations.
